How does after-hours call answering work with Talkify?

What does an after-hours answering service cost in NZ?
Traditional NZ answering services usually price after-hours cover as a premium add-on, on top of a retainer plus per-call charges. Talkify does not distinguish: nights, weekends and stat days are included in the flat $129/month founding rate, with 100 minutes of calls and overage from 10c a minute. A 2am call costs the same as a 2pm one.
Can it tell a real emergency from a routine call?

Why not just let after-hours calls go to voicemail?
