A customer rings a heat pump installer. The agent works out the size of the job, quotes it, takes her details and books the install, in a little over two minutes. Both voices are our new Natural voices, the same ones your agent can use today.

What the agent had to get right.

Nothing in this call is a menu or a recorded message. The agent asks what it needs, in the order a good salesperson would, and nothing it does not.

SizingRoom size, number of windows, whether they are double glazed, and the ceiling height. A raked ceiling and a big slider change the answer, and the agent picks that up.

QuotingA recommended unit and a fully installed price including GST, given on the call rather than "someone will get back to you".

BookingName, address and mobile, two real times to choose from, then every detail read back for the caller to confirm before the call ends.

The whole call, word for word.

Talkify agentKia ora, you've reached Bay Heat Pumps, this is Sam. How can I help today?

CallerHi Sam. I'm after a heat pump for our lounge. Could you give me an idea of what it would cost?

Talkify agentAbsolutely, I can do that for you now. To get the size right, roughly how big is the room?

CallerUm, it's about six metres by five. So thirty square metres, give or take.

Talkify agentLovely. And how many windows are in there?

CallerThree. Two normal ones, and a big slider out to the deck.

Talkify agentAre they double glazed?

CallerYeah, all double glazed. We had them done last year.

Talkify agentThat helps a lot. Last one. Is the ceiling a standard height, about 2.4 metres, or is it higher?

CallerAh, it's higher actually. It slopes up to about three metres in the middle.

Talkify agentThanks, that's really useful. With thirty square metres, a raked ceiling and that big slider, I'd recommend a 7 kW high wall unit. That's $3,690, fully installed, including GST. Would you like me to book that in for you?

CallerYes please, that sounds good.

Talkify agentGreat, let's get that booked in. Can I grab your full name?

CallerIt's Sarah Mitchell.

Talkify agentThanks Sarah. And the address for the install?

Caller14 Kowhai Street, Mount Maunganui.

Talkify agentAnd what's the best mobile number for you?

Caller021 555 8417.

Talkify agentPerfect. I can do Thursday at ten in the morning, or Friday at one in the afternoon. Which suits you better?

CallerThursday at ten is great.

Talkify agentLovely. So that's Sarah Mitchell, at 14 Kowhai Street, Mount Maunganui. A 7 kW heat pump, installed on Thursday at 10am, for $3,690 including GST. I'll text a confirmation to the number ending 8417. Is that all correct?

CallerYep, that's all correct.

Talkify agentAwesome. Our installer will give you a ring when they're on the way. Is there anything else I can help with today?

CallerNo, that's everything. Thanks so much, Sam.

Talkify agentMy pleasure, Sarah. Have a lovely day.
