For real estate agencies on Rex

Every listing in Rex, answered by name.

The Rex AI receptionist gives the houses you choose their own phone number and an agent that has read the listing. Buyers ringing off the sign board at 8pm hear the price wording, the rooms and the next open home, and your salesperson gets every name and number. Real estate phone answering that knows which house they are asking about.

The Rex Software logo. Talkify reads published listings from Rex and gives each chosen property its own answered phone line.

Put your name down and we will connect your Rex and walk you through it. No setup fee, no lock-in, and your office number stays exactly where it is.

Private viewings off the sign board, in the listing agent's Rex diary while they were at an appraisal.

What the agent does with your Rex listings.

It reads what you have published in Rex, not a copy somebody typed into another system, so when the listing changes, the agent's answers change with it.

Brings your listings across

Published listings come over from Rex with the wording your website shows, including your website overrides. Internal drafts stay in Rex, where they belong.

A number per property

Choose a listing, press Build, and it gets its own phone number and its own agent. Where one is available, the number is local to the area the house is in.

Knows that one house

Address, how it is being sold, bedrooms, bathrooms, parking, land and floor area, the advertised copy and the upcoming open homes. Past ones are dropped so nobody is sent to last Sunday.

Has read the documents

Reports and floor plans attached to the listing in Rex can go into what the agent knows, and it can text the buyer the listing details while they are still on the phone.

Viewings, your way

Taken as a request for your salesperson to confirm, or, once you allow it, booked into the listing agent's Rex diary at a time they are genuinely free, under your notice and hours rules.

Every buyer, to the right person

A buyer who wants a call back becomes a lead, and the listing salesperson is told straight away with the name, the number and what they asked about.

From the sign board to a name in the salesperson's phone.

One call on a Saturday evening, the way it runs when nobody at the agency is anywhere near a desk.

01

The sign does its job

A buyer drives past, sees the board and rings the number on it. That number belongs to this listing alone, so the agent knows which house before anyone says a word.

02

It answers about the house

Price wording, auction or deadline date, rooms and section size, straight from the listing as published in Rex. No "I will have to get someone to call you".

03

It offers a way through

The next open home first, since that costs nobody extra time. If they cannot make it, a private viewing.

04

The viewing lands where you want it

As a request for the salesperson to confirm, or, with viewings switched on, in the listing agent's Rex diary under your agency's viewing appointment type, so Rex sends its own confirmation.

05

The buyer leaves with something

The listing details by text, the building report if it is on the listing, and a clear idea of what happens next.

06

Your salesperson knows by morning

Actually within seconds: who rang, about which house, what they asked, and whether they booked. Every enquiry off every board, ready for the Monday call list.

Who it is for in a Rex agency.

Rex runs the office. The calls land on people who are at an appraisal, halfway through an open home, or at home with the kids.

Listing salespeople.

Twelve boards out and one mobile. Each board answered on its own, with the buyer's details sent back to the person whose listing it is. A phone number for every listing.

Sign calls · private viewings

Principals and office managers.

Enquiries that used to die in a salesperson's voicemail now arrive as leads you can see. AI reception for real estate.

Leads · follow-up

The office line, after five.

Appraisal requests and "is it still available" calls come in at night and at weekends. After-hours answering covers the office number as well.

Appraisals · weekends

A buyer who gets voicemail rings the next board.

A buyer standing outside is at the height of their interest. That is the call worth answering properly.

One office number cannot know every house.

Put the office number on every board and whoever picks up has to ask which property, then go and look it up. A number per listing skips all of that: the agent already has the house open, and the enquiry is filed against it before the buyer has finished their question.

Sold is not the end of the calls.

The board stays up for weeks after the sale. The line keeps answering through a grace period, tells callers the house has sold and takes their details for the agency, then the number is kept for the next listing nearby. Work out what unanswered calls cost on the missed call calculator.

Every board you have out could be answering tonight.

We connect your Rex, build the first listing lines with you and put a real buyer call through each one before a single sign goes up. No setup fee and no lock-in.

The Talkify difference

Built here.
Not badged here.

Most AI answering services sold in New Zealand are overseas platforms with a local logo. Talkify runs on our own local SIP network, keeps data in New Zealand and Australian data centres, and answers in voices your callers actually recognise. That changes how every call sounds, and where every recording lives.

Ask a person Talk to us

Tell us which system you run and how your calls come in. A real person at Talkify replies, and we set the connection up with you.

What is an AI receptionist for Rex?
It is a phone agent that knows your listings because it reads them out of Rex. Each property you choose gets its own phone number, and the agent answering it has that house in front of it: the address, how it is being sold, the rooms, the land and floor area, the upcoming open homes and the documents you attached. Buyers get a real answer at nine at night instead of a voicemail, and the listing salesperson gets the name and number of everyone who rang.
How does Talkify connect to Rex?
With a Rex user login. We recommend making a dedicated Rex user for Talkify rather than using a salesperson's own login, so the connection keeps working when somebody changes their password or leaves the agency. Rex swaps that login for a short-lived session token, and the password is stored encrypted and only ever sent to Rex. If your login can reach more than one agency, you add the Rex account id so there is no guessing which office to read.
Does every listing need its own number?
Only the ones you choose. Listings come across from Rex on their own, but a line is built one listing at a time with one button, never in bulk, so you decide which properties get a number. Where it can, Talkify gives the listing a number local to the area the property is in. Put that number on the sign board, the portal listing and the flyer, and every call about that house goes to an agent that knows it.
Can buyers book a viewing straight into Rex?
If you allow it. Out of the box a buyer who wants to see the house is taken down as a viewing request, with their name and number, and your salesperson confirms it. Switch on putting viewings straight into Rex, set the appointment type your agency uses for a private viewing, and the agent offers times the listing agent is genuinely free in their Rex diary and books the one the buyer picks. If Rex does not accept the booking for any reason, it stays a request and the buyer is told a person will confirm, so nobody turns up to a locked door.
What happens to the number when the house sells?
It keeps answering for a while, because sold signs stay up for weeks and people keep ringing them. When Rex shows the listing as sold or withdrawn, the agent tells callers it has sold and takes their details for the agency. After a grace period, thirty days unless your agency sets another, the line comes down and the number is kept aside for the next listing in that area. A listing that goes under offer can simply be paused.
Do I have to change the office phone number?
No. The per-listing numbers are new numbers that point at the listing agents, and your office number stays exactly where it is. If you also want the office line answered after hours or when reception is busy, that works by call forwarding from your current provider, and it can be switched off again just as quickly.
Where are the calls and recordings kept?
Calls are handled in New Zealand and Australian data centres and nowhere else, and that includes the recordings and the transcripts. Talkify reads from Rex only what it needs to answer about a listing and, if you allow it, to book a viewing. Buyers cannot cancel or move someone's viewing over the phone, because a phone call is a poor place to prove who you are.
