For tour and activity operators on Rezdy

You are out on the tour. The next one is filling up.

Talkify is the AI receptionist for Rezdy. While you are guiding, driving or skippering, it answers your booking line in a friendly Kiwi voice, reads the live seats and price options in Rezdy, and books the whole group on the session they want, pickup included.

Day or night, peak season or shoulder, whoever rings gets a booking instead of a voicemail.

What the agent does in your Rezdy.

Rezdy stays the single source of truth for your seats, sessions and bookings. The agent sells from it and writes back to it, and nothing lives in a second system.

Knows your products

The morning paddle, the full-day trip, the sunset cruise. You choose which products the agent may sell by phone, and it describes them from what you have told it.

Reads live seats

Rezdy is asked how many seats are left on each session while the caller waits, so a trip with two seats is never sold to a party of four.

Books by your price options

Adults, children, seniors, family passes. The agent books the party using your own Rezdy price labels, so the booking is priced the way Rezdy prices it.

Adds the pickup

If a product has pickup points in Rezdy, the agent asks which suits and puts it on the booking, so nobody is waiting at the wrong hotel on the morning.

Finds existing bookings

"Am I booked for Saturday?" The agent looks the booking up by order number or name and reads back the product, session and party.

Never takes a card

No card numbers on the phone, ever. The booking goes into Rezdy and payment stays the way you already take it.

From the phone ringing to a booking in Rezdy.

A family ringing after dinner from another city, walked through the way it happens.

01

It answers at 9:40pm

The office shut hours ago. The caller is planning tomorrow's flights and wants it sorted tonight, and they get your business name on the first ring.

02

It sizes up the group

How many, how old, which day, which trip. Kids, seniors and family passes are matched to your own price options.

03

Rezdy says what is left

The agent asks Rezdy for Saturday's sessions and the seats on each, and offers only the ones the whole party fits on.

04

It sorts the pickup

Which pickup point, and what time to be there, from the pickups you have set up on that product in Rezdy.

05

The booking goes in

Made in Rezdy with the customer's name, mobile and email. Rezdy sends its confirmation, and the seats come off the session for everyone else.

06

You see it at breakfast

A text and an email with the booking and anything the caller asked that needs you, such as a food allergy or a question about a private trip.

Peak season lasts a few months. Missed calls last all year.

Every unanswered call in January is a group that booked the operator down the road. Connect Rezdy and every call gets a live seat count and a booking, even while you are out on the water. We set it up with you.

Who runs Rezdy, and why they miss calls.

Most operators on Rezdy are small teams who are the product. When the trip is running, nobody is in the office.

Tours on water and on land.

Kayak, jet boat, fishing charters, walking and wine tours: the guide is the phone answerer, and both jobs do not fit. The booking agent.

Sessions · pickups

Calls from every time zone.

Visitors plan in their evening, which is often your night. The agent answers then too. After-hours answering.

Overnight · visitors

Changes that need a call out.

A weather cancellation or a shifted departure means ringing a list of people fast. Outbound calls handle that side.

Weather · reminders

A booking widget waits. A caller will not.

Your Rezdy checkout sells to people who click. The people who ring have questions first, and whoever answers them gets the booking.

The phone call is the high-value booking.

Families, groups and anyone who is not sure the trip suits the kids ring rather than click. Those are the bookings with the most seats in them, and the ones that go elsewhere when nobody answers.

Weather days jam the line.

On a marginal morning everyone rings at once to ask whether it is on. Tell your agent, and it gives every one of them the same clear answer while you get the boat ready. Put a figure on the rest with the missed call calculator.

The Talkify difference

Built here.
Not badged here.

Most AI answering services sold in New Zealand are overseas platforms with a local logo. Talkify runs on our own local SIP network, keeps data in New Zealand and Australian data centres, and answers in voices your callers actually recognise. That changes how every call sounds, and where every recording lives.

Ask a person Talk to us

Tell us which system you run and how your calls come in. A real person at Talkify replies, and we set the connection up with you.

What is an AI receptionist for Rezdy?
A phone agent that answers your booking line and sells straight into Rezdy. It knows your products and their price options, asks Rezdy how many seats are left on each session, and books the caller and their group on the one they choose, with a pickup point if the trip has one. Rezdy then sends its usual confirmation. It is built for New Zealand and Australian tour and activity operators who are out on the water, the road or the trail when the phone rings.
How does Talkify connect to Rezdy?
With a Rezdy API key. You request one from inside your Rezdy supplier account, under Integrations, and Rezdy issues it, which can take a day or two. Paste it into Talkify, choose which products the agent may sell by phone, and you are connected. We walk you through it, and you can revoke the key from Rezdy whenever you like.
Does it take card payments over the phone?
No. The agent never asks for or hears a card number. It makes the booking in Rezdy with the customer's name, phone and email, and how the balance is paid stays exactly as you run it now. Rezdy sends the customer its confirmation, so they have the details in writing before the day.
Can it book a group with adults, children and a pickup?
Yes. It books by your own price options, so two adults and two children are booked as exactly that, and it checks the session has the seats before it offers it. If the product has pickup points in Rezdy, it asks which one suits and adds it to the booking. Anything outside your price options, such as a private charter or a group of thirty, becomes an enquiry for you.
What about weather calls on a bad morning?
The agent does not decide whether a trip runs, and it does not guess. Tell it in the morning, for example that the 10am trip is off and everyone booked will be contacted, and it says so on every call that day. Callers asking to move because of the weather can be passed to you with their order number, so the rebooking is yours to make.
Can it help visitors from overseas?
Talkify agents can speak 32 languages, and the agent answers at any hour, which matters when the caller is planning from another time zone. It gives times in your local time and books them into Rezdy the same way, so a family ringing from the other side of the world at their lunchtime gets a real answer at your midnight.
Do I have to change my booking phone number?
No. Forward the number on your website, your brochures and your listings to Talkify from your current phone company. Set it to answer every call, only when you are busy, only when nobody picks up, or only after hours. Nothing is ported and you can turn it off in minutes, which suits a seasonal business.

Have a look around.

What taking bookings on the phone looks like all day, from the first question to the confirmation.

The calls that come in when the office is shut, answered as well as the ones at midday.

The agent ringing out: reminders, changes and the list of guests who need to hear the trip has moved.

The same phone booking for tours, classes and escape rooms running on Bookeo.

Private charters and custom trips run from a calendar? The agent books into that too.

Everything Talkify connects to, and what your agent can do once it is connected.
