Talkify / Integrations / vWork
For delivery and field service businesses on vWork in New Zealand and Australia

It knows their bottles before it says hello.

"It's Sam, I need my gas swapped." Talkify is the vWork AI receptionist that already knows which Sam, which address and which two bottles at the back of the house, answers in a genuine Kiwi voice, and puts the order straight into vWork as a job for your dispatcher to schedule.

The vWork logo. Talkify answers calls for businesses that run their jobs in vWork and puts phone orders into vWork as jobs.

Put your name down and we will connect your vWork and walk you through it. No setup fee, no lock-in, and your phone number stays exactly where it is.

Orders taken on the phone land in vWork unassigned, on the right customer and bottles, ready to schedule.

What the agent does with your vWork.

It knows vWork's customers, assets and jobs, through vWork's own API.

Knows who is calling

The number on the line is matched against your vWork customers before the agent speaks, so a regular is greeted by name and never asked for their address.

Knows what is at their place

Their bottles, sites or machines, as you hold them in vWork, with the size, serial and where they are. You choose the word: bottles, sites, units.

Answers "when are you coming?"

Their open jobs are read live from vWork: booked in, scheduled for Thursday morning, on the way, or done last Friday.

Takes the order

A swap or a delivery becomes a vWork job from your own template, on their account and the right bottle, with their gate code in the notes.

Never sends two trucks

If an order is already open for those bottles, the caller is told what is booked rather than a second job being created behind it.

Several houses, one phone

A landlord or a business with more than one account is asked which address they mean before anything is said or ordered.

From a ringing phone to a job in vWork.

One call, followed from the customer's kitchen to your dispatcher's screen.

01

It picks up straight away

Your line forwards to Talkify when the office is busy or closed. Your business name, a local voice, no queue and no voicemail.

02

It knows them already

The number matches a vWork customer, so Sam is greeted by name, and the agent can see the Station Road address and the two 45kg bottles there.

03

It checks what is open

Nothing booked for those bottles yet, and the last swap was done six weeks ago. If one was already on its way, Sam would hear that instead.

04

It confirms the order

Both bottles, Station Road, gate code 1234 and the dog is friendly. Read back once, and again once vWork has taken it.

05

A job appears in vWork

From your bottle swap template, on Sam's account and bottles, unassigned, with the gate code where the driver will see it.

06

Your dispatcher schedules it

Onto a truck's run like any other job. Sam was told the team will be in touch with when, so nothing was promised that the run cannot keep.

Every "can you swap my bottles" taken, and taken properly. On the right account, linked to the right bottles, and waiting in vWork before the caller has hung up.

The call, word for word

What Sam heard when the gas ran out.

No account number, no spelling out the address, no hold music. The agent already knew the bottles, checked nothing was on its way, and had the order in vWork while Sam was still on the line.

Connected in an afternoon.

Three steps, and we do them with you on the phone.

Paste your vWork key

From Admin, then API in vWork. Your customers and what you look after for them come across in the background, and stay in step every night.

Choose how orders work

Pick the vWork template an order is made from, and the fields for quantity and notes. Leave ordering off and the agent still knows every caller.

Forward your number

When the office is busy, when nobody answers, after hours or always. The number on your trucks and your invoices stays exactly as it is.

Who runs vWork, and why the phone matters.

vWork is built for businesses whose work happens on the road. The office takes the calls, and the office is small.

Gas and fuel delivery.

Bottle swaps, new connections and safety checks, where the customer rings the moment the hot water goes cold and expects you to know their bottles. After-hours answering covers the cold Sunday night.

Grounds and property care.

Mowing rounds, reserves and maintenance contracts, where the asset is the site and the caller wants to know when the crew is due. AI reception for landscapers.

Servicing and pest control.

Heat pumps, bait stations and equipment on a service plan, booked in against the right unit. For pest control and heating and cooling.

An empty bottle does not wait.

A customer with no gas rings you first. If nobody answers, they ring whoever else delivers in your area.

The customer is already yours.

Your bottles are at their house and your name is on the sticker. A missed call is the one moment a competitor gets a foot in the door, usually on a weekend or first thing on a cold morning, when the office is least likely to pick up.

Jobs, not sticky notes.

An order that arrives as a vWork job on the right account and bottles is never retyped and never lost. Work out what your missed calls are worth on the missed call calculator, or see how after-hours answering works.

The Talkify difference

Built here.
Not badged here.

Most AI answering services sold in New Zealand are overseas platforms with a local logo. Talkify runs on our own local SIP network, keeps data in New Zealand and Australian data centres, and answers in voices your callers actually recognise. That changes how every call sounds, and where every recording lives.

Ask a person Talk to us

Tell us which system you run and how your calls come in. A real person at Talkify replies, and we set the connection up with you.

What is an AI receptionist for vWork?
A phone agent that answers your business line in a natural voice and already knows your vWork customers. When someone rings, it recognises them from their number, knows their delivery address and what you look after for them, such as the gas bottles at their house, and can tell them where their job is up to. When they want something done, the order goes into vWork as a new job for you to schedule. Talkify is built in Christchurch for businesses in New Zealand and Australia.
How does Talkify connect to vWork?
With an API key from vWork, which you will find under Admin, then API. If your account has no API page, vWork switches API access on for you. Paste the key into Talkify, choose what you call the things you look after (bottles, sites, machines), and we bring your customers and their assets across. Nothing is installed and nothing changes in how your team uses vWork.
How does it know who is calling?
From the number they ring from. vWork cannot look a customer up by phone number, so Talkify keeps a copy of your vWork customers and their assets in your own Talkify account, refreshed every night, and matches the caller against it in the second before it answers. It never finds an account from a name or an address the caller gives, so nobody can hear somebody else's details by asking for them.
Can it take an order?
Yes, when you switch it on. The agent confirms what they want, how many and which address, then creates a job in vWork from the template you choose, on their account and linked to the right bottle or asset, with anything they said for the driver in the notes. If an order is already open for the same thing, it tells them what is booked instead of sending a second truck, unless they say they really want another.
Will it promise a delivery time?
No. An order arrives in vWork unassigned, and your dispatcher schedules it the way they always do. The agent tells the caller the team will be in touch with when. For a job you have already scheduled, it can read the day straight out of vWork, so "when are you coming?" gets a real answer.
What if one person has several accounts?
A landlord with three rentals, or someone with a house and a business on one mobile, is several customers in vWork and one caller. Talkify keeps every account on that number, asks which address they are calling about, and only then talks about the bottles or the job at that address.
Do I have to change my business number?
No. Talkify works by call forwarding from the number your customers already have. Nothing is ported and nothing is installed. You choose when it picks up: always, when you are busy, when nobody answers within a few rings, or only after hours, and it comes off just as quickly.

Have a look around.

Nights and weekends covered, with real emergencies put through to whoever is on call.

For taxi and shuttle fleets: bookings taken on the phone and sent straight to dispatch.

For field service and contracting businesses running their jobs in Simpro.

For home service businesses, with every enquiry raised as a request in Jobber.

Rounds, quotes and maintenance contracts, answered while the mowers are running.

Everything Talkify connects to, and what the agent can do once it is connected.
