Talkify / Integrations / monday CRM
For teams on monday.com in New Zealand and Australia

Every phone call, an item on your board.

Your team runs everything on monday, except the phone, which still lives in voicemail and on sticky notes. Talkify is the monday CRM AI receptionist that closes that gap: it answers in a natural Kiwi voice, and every enquiry lands as an item in your leads group with the whole call posted as an update, assigned to the right person.

The monday CRM logo. Talkify turns every answered phone call into an item and an update on your monday.com board. monday CRM

Put your name down and we will connect your monday.com board and walk you through it. No setup fee, no lock-in, and your phone number stays exactly where it is.

Calls landing as items on the leads board, owner and update included.

What the agent does on your boards.

It works through the monday.com API with your own boards, groups and columns, so nothing about how your team works has to change.

Creates the item

A new enquiry becomes an item on the board and in the group you pick, named the way your team names them, with the caller's details in the columns you mapped.

Posts the call as an update

The summary and full transcript go on the item as an update, right where your team already comments, so the story of the lead starts with the first call.

Knows returning callers

The number is looked up in your board's Phone column before the agent speaks. A match gets greeted by name and the call is added to their existing item.

Sets status and owner

Your Status column set to New, the People column set to whoever handles that kind of work, a Source of Phone. Filters, dashboards and automations pick it up from there.

Notifies the owner in monday

The person assigned gets a monday.com notification pointing at the new item, the same bell they already watch for everything else.

And texts them anyway

A text and an email with the summary the moment the call ends, for the owner who is on a site visit and nowhere near a laptop.

From a ringing phone to an item somebody owns.

One call, followed from the first ring to the moment your team picks it up in monday.

01

The call is answered

You are in a workshop with a client, so the studio line forwards to Talkify. First ring, your greeting, a real local voice.

02

Your board is checked

The number is looked up in the Phone column. No match, so this is somebody new: Aroha, who wants a rebrand for her café.

03

It gets the brief

What the business is, what they need, the deadline, the rough size of the job. Your questions, and answers to theirs from what you have told it.

04

An item appears

In New leads on your Leads board, named, with her number, email, a status of New and a Source of Phone, so it shows in every view you already use.

05

The call goes on as an update

Summary on top, transcript underneath, posted to the item. The owner column is set and that person gets a notification in monday.

06

Your team takes it from there

Your own automations fire as they would for any new item. The owner reads the update, rings Aroha back, and the work carries on in monday.

Put the phone on the board with everything else. Every call answered, turned into an item with an owner and an update, without anybody retyping a voicemail.

Connected to your board in minutes.

We do it with you on a call, and nothing about your workspace changes.

Copy your API token

From the Developers section of your monday.com profile. Paste it into Talkify and the boards that user can see become available to pick from.

Pick the board and map columns

Which board and group new calls land in, and which of your columns hold the phone, email, status and owner. It fits the board you already built.

Forward your line

Busy, no answer, after hours or always. Your number, your phone company and your listings stay exactly as they are.

A board is only as full as the phone lets it be.

Forms create items by themselves. Phone calls depend on somebody remembering to.

The lead that never became an item.

A voicemail on a personal mobile, a message scrawled on a pad, a call that went unanswered at lunch. None of them make it onto the board, so none of them show up in your dashboards, your automations or your weekly review.

Answered, logged, owned.

When every call becomes an item with an owner, nobody has to ask whether someone rang that person back. The board tells you. See what the ones you are missing are worth on the missed call calculator.

The Talkify difference

Built here.
Not badged here.

Most AI answering services sold in New Zealand are overseas platforms with a local logo. Talkify runs on our own local SIP network, keeps data in New Zealand and Australian data centres, and answers in voices your callers actually recognise. That changes how every call sounds, and where every recording lives.

Tell us which system you run and how your calls come in. A real person at Talkify replies, and we set the connection up with you.

What is an AI receptionist for monday CRM?
A phone agent that answers your business line in a natural voice and records every call on your monday.com boards. A new caller becomes an item on your leads board with their name, number, email and what they wanted, and the whole call is posted as an update on that item. A caller already on your board is found by their number, so the update goes on their existing item instead. Talkify is built in Christchurch for teams in New Zealand and Australia.
How does Talkify connect to monday.com?
With a personal API token. In monday.com open your profile, go to the Developers section and copy your API token, then paste it into Talkify and pick the board and group new calls should land in. The token works as the user who made it, so it sees exactly the boards that user can see. Regenerate it in monday.com and the connection stops.
Which board does the call go on?
The one you choose. Most teams on monday CRM point it at the Leads board and a group such as New leads, so fresh enquiries sit together until somebody picks them up. You map which columns get the phone number, the email, the status and the owner, so it fits a board you have customised rather than forcing a new one on you.
What does the update on the item say?
Everything a colleague needs without ringing the caller back: who called and when, what they are after, any dates, sizes or budgets they mentioned, what the agent told them, and the full transcript underneath. It sits in the item's updates alongside your team's own comments, so the conversation about the lead stays in one place.
Can it recognise somebody who is already on a board?
Yes. The caller's number is looked up in the Phone column of the board you choose before the agent says hello, so a returning customer is greeted by name and the new call is added as an update on their existing item rather than creating a duplicate. If nothing matches, it treats them as a new enquiry.
Will the right person know about it?
Yes, two ways. The item can be assigned to an owner in your People column and that person sent a monday.com notification, so it turns up in their bell like any other assignment. And whoever you choose gets a text and an email with the summary within seconds of the call ending, for the times nobody has monday open.
Do I have to change my business number?
No. Talkify works by call forwarding from the number your customers already ring, so nothing is ported and nothing is installed. Choose when it picks up: every call, only when you are busy, only when nobody answers within a few rings, or only after hours. It takes a few minutes with your phone provider and is just as quick to turn off.

Have a look around.

How the agent qualifies a new enquiry before it ever becomes an item.

Calls as cards, for teams whose work lives on Trello boards instead.

Callers recognised and every call logged against the contact in HubSpot.

For sales teams whose pipeline lives in Pipedrive.

Callers found by number and every call noted on their history in Capsule.

Everything Talkify connects to, and what the agent can do once it is connected.
